There are only 3 weeks or 23 days left until Christmas! Are you ready for the holidays yet?? I have had the shop decorated and finally my upstairs on the inside...but the outside has still not been done! Not much time for gift knitting for me, how about you?
Can you believe it? There is 4 weeks or only 29 days until Christmas! Give the knitters and makers in your life (or yourself) the beautiful yarn or tools that will make them very happy! If you are a maker, what is on your Wish List?
It is cold out there today so it really feels like sweater weather out there! We are not always wearing out hand knits during our Tuesday Knit Afternoons but because it is sweater weather, this week six of the group had on either a hand knit sweater or skirt!

Sometimes I can't believe it but that it was 7 years ago today that I opened my doors with a broken leg and a wheelchair to get around those first few months! Happy 7th Anniversary!!!!

While it should be cool and crisp out, yesterday included a few snow flurries and yet today, I had to change because it was too warm and yet Christmas is only 9 weeks away! It is going to be here before we know it...Have you started your gift knitting?

It really has started feeling seasonally cold and crisp outside! What gets you in the fall knitting mood for you...sweater weather sweaters, a cozy shawl or a pair of warm socks?
It is officially fall with our evenings coming sooner and weather that has not made up its mind yet. I find myself starting out in a summer sweater but having to either change into a warmer sweater and throwing on a shawl!
I am back! it was a busy 10 days with not a lot of knitting or relaxation time but now I am ready to enjoy sweater weather but is it sweater weather yet? Maybe not quite but it is definitely time to start knitting them.
I can't believe that it is the last week of August and that it is almost September. With summer winding down, are you anticipating the cooler fall weather? Are you still knitting for summer or are you knitting for sweater weather?
Well it still too hot out sometimes and sometimes it isn't and already the nights have started cooling down! It is already getting dark earlier too and despite the heavy downpour yesterday evening, I had a big turnout for Knit Night!
