Can you believe it? There is 5 weeks or only 42 days until Christmas! Give the knitters and makers in your life (or yourself) the beautiful yarn or tools that will make them very happy! If you are a maker, what is on your Wish List?

It has been another year!! It was 9 years ago on November 4th that I opened my doors with a broken leg where I wasn't allowed to put any weight on it and a wheelchair to get around those first few months!

It has cooled down considerably out there especially our mornings and evening, so brrrr...It is definitely sweater weather! Did you know that there are only 8 more weeks until Christmas?

Here we are past mid-October with Halloween next week! Christmas is going to be here before we know it...Have you started your gift knitting or sweater weather knits?

Time seems to be flying by much too fast! October is half over with Halloween coming up and with Christmas only 10 weeks away!

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to everyone this weekend. It's that time of year again when we gather together with family and friends to enjoy a delicious meal and to connect and reflect on what we are thankful for. We are thankful for your business and continued support. Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving Day with your friends and family!

It is officially fall but our weather has not made up its mind yet. I find myself starting out in a summer sweater but having to either change into a warmer sweater and throwing on a shawl! Are you ready to start cool weather projects?

Just a few days and it will officially be fall with our evenings coming sooner and weather that has not made up its mind yet and too wet! Perfect weather to stay in and knit or make something though! What do you have on your needles?

There is a nip in the air in the morning and again at night already. I am ready to enjoy sweater weather but is it sweater weather yet? Are you wearing your summer knits or fall knits!

I look forward to fall with the wonderful change in season colours. This year I have not spent nearly as much time on the back patio knitting but as the weather cools, I should take advantage of our remaining outdoor knitting opportunities.

I can't quite believe that this weekend is the Labour Day long weekend! Is it sweater weather yet? Maybe not quite yet especially with the heat wave they are expecting but maybe it is time to start knitting them? What is on your needles?

It is still too hot out sometimes and sometimes it isn't and already the nights have started cooling down! It has also started getting dark earlier too, perfect for starting a new project or finishing one that was put away for the summer.

I hope that you have been enjoying summer despite the mixed bag of weather! Have you been staying indoors out of the humidity to knit like me? Most summers I try to sit out more than I have felt like this year.
