Can you believe that this weekend is the Labour Day long weekend? Is it sweater weather yet? Maybe not quite yet especially with the on again, off again heat waves we keep getting but maybe it is time to start knitting them? What is on your needles?
It is still too hot out while sometimes it isn't, like today. Already the nights have started cooling down! It has also started getting dark earlier too, perfect for starting a cool weather project or finishing one that was put away for the summer.
I hope that you have been enjoying summer so far despite the humidity! Have you been staying indoors to knit like me? This year I have not gone outside to sit and knit much at all...it has been too hot!
Well I am back from my vacation and while I didn't go far, I did get to see most of my family! Can you believe that summer is half finished already? September is coming up fast! Have you started thinking about fall projects or are you ready to cast on your gift knitting?
It is another wet and humid day out there while I am writing this! I am hoping for a drier and hopefully a little cooler weekend to spend with family.
It was hot, wet and overcast! We really shouldn't complain though because it could be hotter with no air conditioning. I am truly thankful that most of us have the luxury of being able to stay inside where it is cool and dry.
It has been too hot and sometimes too windy to be outdoors for long with the recent humidity but it has been the perfect excuse to stay indoors and knit!
Is it hot enough for you? I'm afraid I have been staying inside with the coolness of air conditioning and knitting! If you are like me, I knit all year round. Stay cool, hydrated and enjoy!
It certainly felt like summer outside today! It was hot and humid and while I wanted it warmer, perhaps not quite so humid that we don't want to be outside.
Saturday is our annual Sue2Knits Knit in Public Day! Go Public, Go Social...Go Knitting in Public Yeah!
From 10 until 5 pm. So far it looks like we will have a great day so I look forward to seeing you! Bring yourself (carpool if possible), your knitting, crochet or yarnie project and join in for some socializing and fibre fun with us!
Today was a perfect day out for a change even if we could still complain - a bit too warm! It is the perfect time to put on the summer tee you made last year and cast on another.
This week has been both grey and sunny, chilly and also hot and humid! Let's hope we have a great weekend ahead of us where we can take advantage of it to spend it outdoors enjoying some sun while sitting and knitting or spending some time gardening.
There have been days when I am ready to wear a summer tee but then again there have been days of chilly, gray or rainy days when I am not! It is definitely time to knit some summer tees though!
This morning was grey and dreary looking so it is hard to tell if it warm outside but while the mornings and evenings have been relatively cool, the afternoons have been quite warm. Have you been wearing your summer tees and are you ready to make another?
