This is a busy time of year for most of us and with only 11 days to go...Me, I usually mail out Christmas cards but this year, well lets just say that I got a little too busy but as you can see I did finish my Ninilchik Swoncho!

Christmas is coming faster than we thought possible! We think we still have lots of time and then we get a little frantic and stressing about gifts to buy or make but there IS still time to make those last minute gifts!
We all woke up to snow this morning!! It is only the 9th of November so I think Ed is happy that he started putting up our Christmas lights yesterday...He hasn't finished yet but he doesn't want to put them up after it snows!
Quick and bulky or intricate and fine, there are hundreds of patterns available for us to make...Christina has started her Christmas knitting early but this beauty is just for her!
I'm not sure that I like how fast time seems to fly by...but it does and much too fast! Just look at my youngest grandson! Caleb is 4 months old already and sitting in his bumbo!
It seems like summer just ended especially with the crazy hot and then cold weather we have had but really....there are only 9 weeks or 67 days until Christmas!
Tomorrow is the big day! We are gearing up for the first ever Windsor-Essex Yarn Crawl so come on out for some great food, patterns and kits at each location. We are looking forward to an all day Stitch'N'Bitch whether you are a knitter, crocheter or crafter, come out and craft with us!
While it has been hot and humid some of the time, our evenings have started to cool down...With cool, crisp fall days on the horizon, it will be the perfect weather for a sweater or poncho!
Fall has arrived with evening coming sooner but the weather certainly has not made up its mind yet! Hot and humid one day and cold and wet the next! Perfect weather to stay in and knit or make something!
Fall officially arrives at 9:54 pm tomorrow, and daylight lasts about 8 minutes longer than nighttime on the day of the equinox. I put my fall wreath on my front door and changed the tablecloths to autumn-toned ones!
