While it might have been snowing lightly outside today, I am trying to decide whether my next cast on will be another winter weather / sweater weather knit or a spring / summer / warm weather knit! What would you cast on when you have as many favourited as well as purchased patterns as me?
It has been looking a little like spring outside but I don't really think I am feeling it yet! Are you ready to start your warm weather knitting projects or will you continue your cozy projects for a few more weeks?
Weather has been a roller coaster with freezing cold one day, seasonal cold the next and even rain so I have been knit, knit, knitting whenever I get the chance...Have you too... especially since it is sweater weather?

We finally got the snow that had been bypassing us here in the Windsor-Essex, Ontario area! We stayed put and did not venture out except for Ed with the snowblower and of course a shovel...The neighbour across the road has his new toy, a new attachment for his ATV so he was out plowing his and several neighbour's driveways to break it in!
Today was bright and sunny but it was cold and expected to get colder! It is the perfect weather for digging out that work in progress, settling back with some music on, your Netflix or favourite podcast and knitting or making!
January usually means rain, snow and cold...Somehow, we have missed out here in the Windsor, Ontario area but we have had the cold temperatures... Great excuse for us makers to snuggle and knit or make something!
While we are living in the middle of these uncertain times, I am grateful for keeping my hands and my mind busy!

It is a brand new year so Happy New Year! Once again we are in the middle of another wave of Covid with the Omicron Variant in the forefront.
Today is Christmas Eve! Tomorrow is Christmas. One of the questions, my daughter asks her boys is "What are you thankful for?" I am incredibly thankful for all of you for all of your love and support!
