It is officially summer! When the days are not wet, I like to to take advantage of those clear days, sit outside and knit whenever I can. I love the light summer tops and tanks that can be made using lighter weight yarns or cotton, linen or silk.

One week and it will officially be summer even if it hasn't felt like it! Have you like Trina been working on warm weather knits? Some of us don't knit at all during the summer season but I love the light and airy tops and shawls that can be made using cottons, linens, silks and blends of these yarns! Today is the kind of gorgeous day that we have all been waiting for! It has been so damp, wet and dreary grey days with waterlogged yards and plants that this kind of day just hits all the right buttons!

It is Good Friday and a holiday...I am not going out of town until Sunday so I am open this weekend! I am really hoping for some spring weather to enjoy and not rain but today looks like a mostly overcast day!

Today there was no sun, only gray and intermittent rain so it was the prefect weather to wear a cozy, oversized sweater like Nik is here!

I really should be starting some warm weather knitting...Something to wear when it finally warms up but no I am not quite there yet! Bev, on the other hand has finished this summery top using Berroco Remix Light!

Well I know that I am still knitting a winter sweater! I do have plans for some summer projects but I always have a bit too many things that I want to start!
