It looks like we are in for a scorching, hot weekend! Are you staying indoors to knit or will you knit under the gazebo? Unless it is really humid, the gazebo is usually fine so I am definitely going to try to knit outside!
After last weekend 's hot, humid weather, the rain and cooler weather is definitely putting me into the mood to just sit and knit!
Summer feels like it finally arrived! Is it hot enough for you? We even had to turn on the air conditioner a few days ago so that it would be more comfortable in the house. On my deck we installed a gazebo...was it last year? It makes it cool enough under there to sit, relax and knit. I am sitting there right now writing this blog/newsletter!
The temperature outside finally feels warm enough to wear my Wilson Top and yesterday, I was able to wear my Anker's Summer Sweater! It has definitely been unseasonably cool out so I haven't even purchased my plants yet.
Mother's Day is this weekend, that special day when we do everything to show our love! Well for us yarn lovers, forget the flowers because your Mom wants yarn or something related to her passion for making! Of course, we also have Gift Cards!
It was raining out there earlier so we can expect everything to turn green in no time! Check out Connie's fabulous green sweater...Doesn't it bring spring to mind?
The weather has been just a little unpredictable...on Tuesday my daughter some pics of my grandsons in their pool on Tuesday and then we all got snow on Wednesday! I think we can say that it is still sweater weather!
Join us for Local Yarn Store Day starting tomorrow Saturday, April 17, 2021! Every purchase made between April 17th to April 19th will be entered into a draw that I will make on Tuesday! Special giveaways for the first 20 orders!
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, we are once again back to no in-store shopping. Online shopping is always open. Curbside pickup is available any day between 10 am and 5 pm, just let me know ahead of time to make sure that I didn't have to step out!
It is Easter weekend...Who would have thought when we started this business as usual with curb side pick-up and shipping that over a year later, it is still going to be the norm? Easter dinner with our loved ones this year should again be memorable and shared virtually! Happy Easter!
It started gray and gloomy but has turned out to be a not too bad day! It has been the kind of weather where you want to cast on a spring or summer sweater to wear as soon as possible!
Today is blustery and cold out but with the sun shining, it looks like spring is on the way! Spring knitting is coming! Are you ready to cast on a summer tee yet?
It has been feeling a little like spring out there! Are you ready to start your warm weather knitting projects or will you continue your cozy projects for a few more weeks?
I haven't been outside but with the sun shining, it is starting to look like we should be starting on warmer weather knits! On the other hand, I like to continue with cozy sweater weather knits a lot longer.
