The Wilson Top by Allyson Dykhuizen is designed to be knit using one cake of Hikoo’s Concentric Cotton for a perfect gradient colourway fade!
Hikoo’s new Concentric Cotton yarn is perfect for one piece summer projects because of it’s easy gradient construction. The challenge? Designing a tee pattern that lets the yarn do the talking. This top down tee has eyelet increases for the yoke and a mock garter stitch throughout - the purl bumps adding more visual interest to the gradient yarn.

Yarn Hikoo Concentric Cotton, 100% Pima Cotton; 924yds/200g: Nautical, 1 skein.
Needles Size 6 (4.0 mm): 24” circular (cir); Size 4 (3.5 mm): 16” cir. Adjust needle sizes if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions Marker (m); tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge 21 sts and 34 rows = 4” (10 cm) in Mock Garter on larger needles.
Notes Top is knit from the top down and designed to use only one skein of Hikoo’s Concentric Cotton yarn for a perfect gradient colorway fade. Please note that larger sizes will have less yardage to add length. Max body length from underarm with correct gauge and one skein of Concentric Cotton is 34.25 - 29”, 37.75 - 25”, 41.25 - 21”, 45.25 - 18”, 48.75 - 15”, 53.75 - 11”, 57.25 - 6”.

Anker’s Summer Shirt by PetiteKnit is worked from the top down and is a summer top well worth knitting! The yoke is worked in sections of rib with increases in the round, followed by classic raglan increases when the stockinette stitch section begins. The sleeves are worked at the end, either on double-pointed needles or on circular needles using the Magic Loop technique. Anker’s Summer Shirt has no finishing other than weaving in ends. Begin by working a swatch to determine which needle size you need to achieve the correct gauge. Note that the swatch needs to be washed and blocked before measuring the gauge.

Pinnacle by Crystal Hiatt is a brioche tunic knit in the round top down with raglan sleeves. Work in brioche rib to just below the waist where you split for the final hem and sides. The low-high split for the hem features a moss stitch detail along the edges.

WIPs and FOs
Off my needles is my Love Note by tincanknits that I knit using The Fibre Co. Cirro in the colour Graceful.
I love how it turned out and how it fits! The yarn is so light and airy and while I could have tried harder too get the intended gauge, I liked the looser gauge I was getting to goo with it and knit the smaller size 3..
The only thing that I recommend is for you to use a loose bind off or it won't go over your head! The hem was fine with my first bind off but I undid it and bound off the hem again. When binding off the second time around, I used Laura Nelkin's Lace Bind Off.
On my needles is the onesie that I am knitting my great niece using Veronica (@xovee.knits)’s notes for the one she knit her son Mateo!
I decided to add feet to the bottom of mine.
I need to pick up and knit the sleeves now!
Isn’t the onesie that Veronica (@xovee.knits) designed and knit for her son adorable! Instead of the crocheted bobbles, I am thinking daisies!
