Tomorrow is the big day! The very first Fiber Sho organized by The Hook Pusher and Fusion Fiber Arts is happening tomorrow at 628 Monmouth Road in Windsor.
I can't believe that the summer is drawing to a close but it is already almost September, Labour Day weekend, and my daughter and grandson both have birthdays next week! Where has the time gone?
It is still hot and humid out...Do you have summer knits on your needles or have you started your cool weather fall knitting?? I have on my needles both, one of which is one of Veera's lacy cardigans!
I love to knit even in the summer but knitting with a worsted weight yarn...even beautiful Malabrigo Rios is hard with this heat unless of course, you are knitting in the air conditioned comfort!!
Are you enjoying your summer so far? I am even though it has been hot, humid and just bit more wet than I like! It definitely makes it easy to sit back, relax and knit like Natalie did! Doesn't she look fabulous in her new shawl?
Too hot to be outdoors for too long with the recent humidity but it has been the perfect excuse to knit indoors! Summer knits using linen, cottons are much easier to work on such as this beauty that Rita knit!
It has been so humid and hot that I am not going to even try to sit outside to knit! Inside the house with air conditioning on is where I want to be with my knitting in hand! It was even cool enough for my grandson to try on his new sweater:)
Enjoy the fireworks, the bonfires and the moments this Canada Day weekend! Enjoy a 15% Discount on almost everything in the shop! Use the discount code CANADADAY2019 at checkout from today until 11:59pm on July 2, 2019.
It is officially summer! When the days are not wet, I like to to take advantage of those clear days, sit outside and knit whenever I can. I love the light summer tops and tanks that can be made using lighter weight yarns or cotton, linen or silk.
One week and it will officially be summer even if it hasn't felt like it! Have you like Trina been working on warm weather knits? Some of us don't knit at all during the summer season but I love the light and airy tops and shawls that can be made using cottons, linens, silks and blends of these yarns! Summertime and easy breezy knitting...
Tomorrow is our second annual Sue2Knits Knit in Public Day! So far it looks like we will have a great day so I look forward to seeing many of you! Bring your project - knit, crochet, weave or craft with us! Go Public, Go Social...Go Knitting in Public Yeah! From 10 until 4 pm.
Today is the kind of gorgeous day that we have all been waiting for! It has been so damp, wet and dreary grey days with waterlogged yards and plants that this kind of day just hits all the right buttons!
With the weather shifting from gray and chilling one day to hot and muggy the next, Jane's mother has still been able to wear this beautiful jacket that Jane knit her for her birthday!
Are you ready to welcome the promise of summer days? It looks like we might be in for a great long weekend to spend outside! Lise is ready with her newly finished I See Spring sweater by Joji.
