What is more fun to knit than a combination of pretty stitch patterns resulting in an ornamental cowl? Designed to be playful, we will use just one skein of The Fibre Co. Meadow, Heart Warmer is meant to be your go-to neck piece this winter and spring.

Skills Required:
Advanced beginner - You will need to know how to knit, purl, decrease, and increase. We will cover knitting in the round, reading a chart, and all techniques included in the pattern.
Size
One size: approx. 60 cm/24” circumference and 43 cm/17” high.
Yarn
Any other fingering weight yarn which gives you the correct gauge with yardage no smaller than 400 yards
Needles
3.75 mm/US #5 circular needle (40 cm / 16” long).
3.5 mm/US #4 circular needle (40 cm / 16” long) or dpns, or one size smaller than gauge needles.
3.25 mm/US #3 circular needle (40 cm / 16” long) or dpns, or two sizes smaller than gauge needles.
Other
stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving, blocking pins.
Gauge
26 sts and 36 rnds = 10 cm / 4” in St st worked in the rnd with the largest needle (after wet blocking). Take time to save time - check your gauge. If necessary, adjust needle size to obtain the correct gauge.
Saturdays, January 3, 10, 24, and 31 – 9 to 11 am – 2 to 4 pm
Pickup available at 12045 Ducharme Lane and is usually ready the next day.
