Finland’s best-selling sock yarn has now been updated. For many decades now, Novita 7 Veljestä has been the best known and best loved yarn among Finnish knitters, and deservedly so. Its popularity is due to its carefully crafted composition and twist, which makes it suitable for a wide range of projects.
It now contains more wool, making it even bouncier and better to work with. 7 Veljestä is made of 80% wonderfully warming wool with 20% polyamide to make it more hardwearing.
7 Brothers from Novita is a classic aran weight yarn suitable for all types of projects. Named after a Finnish novel written in 1870, it tells the tale of seven orphaned brothers. One ball is enough to make a basic pair of women's socks.

- Aran, Worsted
- 219 yards (200 meters) per 100g (3.5oz)
- 3.25 - 3.75 (US 3 -5) needles for socks - 4.5 - 5.0mm (US 7 - 8) needles for other items such as hats, mittens and sweaters.
- 18 - 26 stitches = 4"
- Machine wash in cold water. Lay flat to dry.
