That '70s Throw by Knox Mountain Knit Co. Kit

Not your grandma’s afghan! This funky striped geometric throw, worked in simple mosaic colourwork, is a modern twist on the classic granny blanket. Use two contrasting colours throughout, or combine all your leftover yarns and use a different colour for each section. The possibilities are truly endless!

KIT YARN

Berroco Vintage DK

• 52% Acrylic, 40% Wool, 8% Nylon
• 290 yds (265 m) per 100 g (3.5 oz)
• 22 sts & 28 rows = 4" (10cm)
• 4 mm (US 6) needles
• 18 sc & 24 rows = 4" (10cm)
• 6(G) (US) / 4 mm
• Machine wash inside out in cold water, gentle cycle or Hand wash. Lay flat to dry.

KIT INCLUDES:

• Stroller: 2105 Oats for MC, 2179 Chocolate, 2193 Yukon Green, 2192 Chana Dal, 2175 Fennel, and 2176 Pumpkin for CCs - 2 skeins of MC, 1 skein each of CC.
• Throw: 2145 Black/Cast Iron for MC, 2179 Chocolate, 2105 Oats, 2192 Chana Dal, 2175 Fennel, and 2176 Pumpkin for CCs - 5 skeins of MC, 1 skein each of CC.

GAUGE/SUGGESTED NEEDLES

DK weight: 24 stitches and 36 rows over 4” / 10cm in pattern, with larger needles, after blocking.

A different gauge will affect finished measurements and yardage requirements.

Suggested needles for DK weight: 4.5mm (US 7), or size needed to obtain above listed gauge; AND 3.75mm (US 5), or two sizes smaller than size needed to obtain gauge.
