Ashes Shawl by Joji Ravelry Pattern
Ashes is a dainty rectangular wrap with lace edges.
It is worked in 2 different yarns: a fingering weight merino and a lace weight mohair.
This wrap is huge and because we are alternating the yarn (not using them together) it uses less yarn and it is much more lightweight.
NOTE: I cast on 91 to make my Ashes 2 repeats narrower. The finished and blocked size of mine is 75 inches by 16 inches wide. I used one skein each of Lichen and Lace 80/20 Sock and Marsh Mohair.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
72 inches; 180 cm long and 24¾ inches; 61 cm wide.
MATERIALS
Yarn: Approx. 438 yards (400m) of fingering weight yarn and 687 yards (628m) of lace weight yarn.
Needles: US 6 (4 mm) needles.
Other notions: Tapestry needle, Waste yarn or spare needle to put stitches on hold. Blocking pins or wires.
GAUGE
19 sts and 34 rows in garter stitch on US 6 (4 mm) needles.
NOTE - The pdf Ravelry pattern will be emailed separately from Ravelry to you. If you include in the notes your Ravelry name, it will be added to your library.
Pickup available at 12045 Ducharme Lane and is usually ready the next day.
