Davenport is an all season wrap that is worked flat, lengthwise following the lace pattern chart. It’s finished dimension is 17.5”x 78”. Davenport is knitted on a right moving bias with lace stitches and cables. It is appropriate for confident lace knitters or newer lace knitters ready for a challenge who can comfortably follow a chart.
It was designed specifically for the Koigu Pencil Box set. Knitters can substitute the yarn for 870 yds or 250 g of fingering weight wool yarn in order to complete the wrap.
Yarn weight: Fingering
Gauge: 22 stitches and 32 rows = 4 inches in Diagonal Lace Pattern Stitch
Needle size: US 5 - 3.75 mm
Yardage: 850 - 870 yards (777 - 796 m)
Sizes available: One size fits all
The pattern includes both written and charted instructions to choose between. (Not included in the KIT)
Kits include a 10 mini skein Pencil Box.
