We are very excited to cast on this super fun and huge shawl with you! The pattern includes set up rows / chart written out line by line to help those new to mosaic knitting or charts. The Repeat is CHART ONLY so you will very quickly learn how too read charts!

Amy Christoffers states this pattern is her attempt at preserving all the green grass and flowers for when I need a little sunshine in the depths of winter.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
72” across and 33” deep at the center point
YARN
DK weight yarn, 548 yards main color (MC) and 448 yards contrast color (CC).
NEEDLES
4 mm (US 6) (32”/80 cm circular needle or longer, recommended)
Cord length is not crucial since this piece is worked flat.
(Use the needle size you need to achieve gauge.)
NOTIONS
Waste yarn for provisional cast on, 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle.
GAUGE
20 stitches and 38 rows =4” in Pattern stitch after blocking
PREREQUISITE SKILLS: You will need to know how to cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, increase, decrease, bind off. (Adventurous beginners welcome!)
