Actinotus Wrap by Ambah O'Brien Knitting Class
Want to learn how to do mosaic knitting and lace starting with the Actinotus Wrap by Ambah O'Brien? Actinotus is the Path A option in Ambah’s recent This or That MKAL, a design where knitters can choose between 6 Path A or Path B options, either knitting a straight path or mix and match between the two. Now available as 4 stand alone patterns, Actinotus Shawl or Wrap and the path B versions; Bling-Bling Shawl or Wrap. If you have seen the wrap that I knit for the MKAL, this is the version that I knit.
The pattern is not included. You will need to purchase it through the shop (Ravelry In-Store Sales) or from Ravelry yourself. Choose your yarn or combine with some yarn stash and have fun!

Enjoy a journey of slipped stitches, mosaic knitting and circular lace resulting in a gorgeous triangular shawl. Choose two strongly contrasting colours for the mosaic sections and either use the same colour for the lace or have fun and introduce a third colour into your project. The finished rhomboid shape is easy to wear in a variety of ways and will add a touch of something special to your wardrobe.
The pattern includes both written and charted instructions.

Fingering weight
C1: 360 yd/330 m
C2: 250 yd/228 m
C3: 400 yd/366 m
The mosaic sections will be worked with C1 & C2. For best results choose strongly contrasting colours. I used 5 mini skeins for the lace.

US 5/3.75 mm Or sizes required to obtain gauge
NOTIONS
Optional stitch markers to mark repeats, tapestry needle
GAUGE
21 sts and 36 rows = 4”/10 cm in Garter stitch, blocked
Saturdays, Mar 7, 21, 28 and Apr 11 - 11:30 to 1:30 am
Pickup available at 12045 Ducharme Lane and is usually ready the next day.
