The crisp stitch definition from Meadow emphasizes the rhythmic garter stitch and delicate lace as it travels down the edge of the shawl. FOs and WIPs
Last Saturday, I started the sleeves on my Step by Step Cardigan by Florence Miller. The pattern calls for 5.5 mm needles for the main needle to get a gauge of 16 stitches and 21 rows = 4 inches in stockinette. I am such a loose knitter, I used 4.0 mm needles for the main body and for the sleeves.
For my ribbing needles, I used 3.5 mm needles. I decreased evenly until I had 46 stitches for my cuffs which I knit to 4 inches.
I am working on the cuff on my second sleeve! Do you think I will finish the front bands this weekend?
