Sweater weather doesn't mean that you need anything complicated to wear to be warm and cozy. The Mellow Mood Sweater by Julia Piro is a simple yet stylish top-down seamless raglan sweater. This kind of sweater is the one beginners often start with, and she added some interesting design elements by incorporating rib lines that run down the length of the sweater. I love the Mellow Mood sweater for its minimalist design because true comfort is often found in simplicity. A “mellow mood” refers to a state of calmness, relaxation, and tranquility, often associated with a gentle and easygoing disposition.
This sweater is crafted seamlessly using circular needles, and it’s worked from the top down. It starts at the neckline, progressing into a yoke. The yoke is then divided to create both the body and sleeves, which are finished separately. Choose your preferred length, neckline, and fit options.
SIZES
XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL
This sweater is designed with 20-25% positive ease, ensuring you’ll achieve a relaxed and comfortable fit. If you prefer a more fitted look, you can choose to knit a size or two smaller.
Julia is wearing a size S and is 168 cm tall (5’6’’) with a 89 cm (35 inches) bust circumference.

The Jilli Jumper by Anne Ventzel is a classic raglan sweater with details in twisted
rib, soft rolling edges along neck and cuffs and a softly curved
hem. The sweater has a relaxed fit and a regular armhole. The
design is worked seamlessly from the top down. First the neck
edge is worked, then short rows are worked to raise the back
of the neck and then the sweater is worked in the round down
across yoke, body and sleeves. At the bottom of the body, short
rows are worked to create a curved hem.
SIZES
Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8)

It varies from person to person how much positive ease you like
in your clothes. Try measuring some of your favorite sweaters,
to help you choose the right size for you.
Ann recommends between 25-40 cm of positive ease.
For this type of sweater, I think a relaxed fit suits my straight
body silhouette well, so I have chosen to knit my Jilli Jumper in
size 4 so it has 39 cm of positive ease.

Last Sunday, I worked single crochet reinforcements on either side of the center stitch using the same pick up as if I was picking ip the button band. I worked 3 single crochet and then skipped one. I could cut the steek now but I am waiting. Karen (kmae64) and I both knit this cardigan and we are planning to cut the steek tomorrow at Knit Night.
Now I have picked up and knit the left button band.

Both of the front bands are knit!

I finished the short rows on the back of the Confetti Cardigan Mini by Nashwa Sakr that I am knitting for my granddaughter using Garnstudio Drops Fiesta in the colour 14 Rainbow Sprinkles.
