The Hack It Jacket by Nina Ruth is a pattern that allows you to design your very own cardigan by making simple changes to the basic instructions. Different “hacks” described in the instructions help you to create exactly the expression you want in your jacket. The variations range from different yarn compositions to altered constructions on the sleeves and neckline. Only your imagination sets the limits here.
The basic instruction of the Hack It Jacket is a very classic raglan cardigan, which has a slightly wider fit at the body that is worked top down. First you work the ribbing at the neckline. Then short rows are worked on the front piece, including raglan increases for the sleeves. The sleeves are then worked with decreases, before both the body and sleeves end with ribbed cuffs. Finally, you pick up stitches for the front bands.

Total length excl. ribbing at neckline approx. 44 (46) 48 (50) 52 cm (individually adjustable). Keep in mind that changes regarding the measurements may result in a different total amount of yarn.

My Fie Cardigan by Kristin Drysdale is finished and blocked!

After blocking, it became clear that I didn't have to move any of the buttons like I thought last week...Whew!!

This will be another favourite to wear!

The Confetti Cardigan Mini by Nashwa Sakr that I am knitting for my granddaughter now measures 11.5 inches from the back of the neck. I have a few more inches to go before binding off.

Last year after finishing my Jingle Bells Stocking Christmas KAL 2024 by Arne & Carlos, I cast on and started The Children Dance Around the Trees Stocking
by Arne & Carlos from their Christmas KAL 2023. I set it aside and started working on it again.
