It was cold and crisp outside but today, the sun was shining. I have my wreath up and my two urns outside have Christmas greenery in them but I don't have my tree up in the shop. There are 5 weeks or 36 days until Christmas.

The Mikala Sweater by LE KNIT by Lene Holme Samsøe is an understated fisherman's sweater with a pattern that leaves plenty of room for interesting color combinations. The Mikala Sweater has a raglan construction and a varying pattern, that is quite effortless to knit. The pattern is worked from the right side only.

Manly Beanie by Joji Locatelli is a basic recipe for a minimal, ribbed hat. I’ve knitted this hat countless times, and it’s a favorite among my male relatives and friends. Every time I post about them, knitters ask me for a pattern, so even when it’s a simple item, I decided to go ahead and share how I make them.
This pattern can be purchased by itself or as part of a very special e-book called Care Package. Care Package is an ebook containing patterns she wrote for her son, as he was moving to University. This bundle includes a few things she worked on during the last months of having him nearby: Hyde Park Socks, Manly Beanie and Maroon Socks.

I had my Fie Cardigan by Kristin Drysdale almost finished all week but it wasn't until this morning that I wove in the last few ends and sewed on the buttons. Although I blocked it before I steeked, it still needs to be blocked now that the sleeves and button bands are finished. of course, now that I look at the photo I took, I need to remove 2nd and 3rd buttons and stretch the left front a bit to line up the flowers better!
I only used 6g of my 4th skein of the main colour of Tukuwool DK in 01 Sake. The two contrast colours are leftover from my Aallokko by Tiina Huhtaniemi. I still have 57g of H22 Valo and 61g of H24 Lehto left.

I am knitting the I cast on the Confetti Cardigan Mini by Nashwa Sakr using Garnstudio Drops Fiesta in the colour 14 Rainbow Sprinkles for my granddaughter. I also have a request for some more clothes for her collection of Little Cotton Rabbits that I made.
