Our spring-like weather has disappeared and left us with a blustery and cold wind. My brother lives in Oakville and he had 2-4 inches if snow so I am thankful that we didn't in the Windsor area. Is it time to start your warm weather spring knits...a shawl, socks?
I know I still have warm sweaters on my needles and I must that there are still cozy patterns all over social media!

The Cloudbreak Tee by Wool & Pine is the tee you’ve been looking for. DK weight, seamless, cropped just right, stockinette through the body and then a flirty, lacy scalloped hem that’s super fun and easy to knit. It goes with everything. You’ll wear it constantly.
Short and long sleeve options included. Easy construction, lace instructions provided in both written and charted format. Simple to customize.
Design Details
The fit is the thing. Cloudbreak uses a contiguous seamless construction that gives you a gorgeous set-in-sleeve shape, with no seaming that fits so beautifully through the shoulder and sleeve. The neckline is shaped front and back for a clean, flattering scoop that sits perfectly.
The body is worked in easy stockinette to the small of the waist, where the lace begins. That placement creates Cloudbreak’s flattering silhouette and gives the scalloped hem its soft movement and charm.
Any DK weight yarn with good stitch definition will work beautifully here. We recommend tonal or lightly variegated options, heavily speckled or self-striping yarns may compete with the lace detail at the hem.

The Dragonfly Sweater by Elenor Mortensen is a top-down knit sweater with a large dragonfly pattern framed by smaller flowers and beetles. The smaller patterns can be arranged as desired and mirrored horizontally. This gives you lots of design options for your very own sweater!
After the provisional cast-on, work a few German short rows to raise the neckline.
Following the dragonfly pattern, knit further short rows before adjusting the width in every second size using raglan increases. After cutting off the sleeves, smaller flower or beetle patterns can be knitted in.
The Sweater is available in 9 sizes with a Bust circumference of the finished garment, approx. 34.6, 37.8, 40.9 (44, 47.2, 50.4) 53.5, 56.7,

I think that I need to try on my Jilli Jumper by Anne Ventzel to see how many more rows before I start the ribbing. The pattern has short rows to shape a longer back.
I just looked again at the photo on the pattern and the Jilli has only an inch of ribbing so I have a few more inches to go!

While I love the way my Kitsch Cardigan by Sedna Knitting Test Knit looks so far, I am not used to not being able to spread it out to take progress shots. With the sleeves and the fronts knit closed with the steek stitches, you can't hang it on a hanger. I have 17 rounds to go before the ribbing.

You can see the complete pattern on the back where the steek stitches doesn't interrupt it.
