It is a little cooler out but with the smoke that has been in the air recently, it is better to stay indoors. I am happy to say that my shoulder has been improving and while it is still sore, upward motion is back.
The Boden Shirt by Caidree is a slightly cropped bohemian style summer design created from the top down in a textured stitch that resembles crochet. It is lacy and airy shirt meant to be a staple in your wardrobe. Boden shirt features an open crew neck, deep arm openings and sleek icord finish around all edges. Waterways by Heidi Kirrmaier is designed to be easy to wear, with its short dolman sleeves and straight neckline. The horizontal and vertical stripes created with knit and purl stitches give it a subtle sporty, nautical feel.
How it’s knit:
It is knit seamlessly from the top down. The top sections are worked flat, with short row shaping for the shoulders, and decreases to shape the sleeves. Then it is joined at the underarms and the body is worked in the round. There are 2 options for finishing the neckline and sleeves: a simple knit option, or i-cord.

Fit:

Yarn:
Any plant based DK yarn that works at the pattern gauge may be used.
Plant based (or silk) fibres are recommended because they tend to be quite inelastic, so the front and back ribbing will lay fairly flat, rather than pulling in.

FOs and WIPs
By noon on Sunday, I had the ribbing finished on my Sashiko Tee by Elenor Mortensen. When I finished round 121 of the chart, I skipped to round 136 to shorten my tee.
I had one sleeve finished on Monday. I knit the sleeves to round 67. I worked round 67 similar to round 53 with the little pattern eliminated. Round 68 like 54 and round 69 like round 55. On round 70, I only worked one mpre stitch on the points. I worked 8 rounds of ribbing.
Today, I finished the second sleeve. I have been steam blocking for better photos so my tee has not been wet blocked.
I love it! It is different in style from Elenor's other patterns but worth the time and effort!
