Is it hot enough for you? I'm afraid I have been staying inside with the coolness of air conditioning and knitting... at least until Monday morning. I'm afraid that's when I woke up to my right shoulder aching so badly that I can't even lift my arm. I've had it x-rayed and am waiting to get an ultrasound. For now, I am typing with my laptop ON my lap.
Hare three summer tees designed by Heidi Kirrmaier, a designer from Calgary, Alberta.

Sunshine Coast by Heidi Kirrmaier is quite simple in appearance, but comes with a few little design details that make it special! The A-line body shape is flattering on many body types. It is intended to fit with ½ to 3 inches of ease at the bust. Knit entirely seamlessly from the top down, it is also quite easy to make. The side details are formed through basic increases and decreases. Knit it with the pattern's longer sleeves or shorter cap or longer.
The gauge is suitable for a heavy DK or light worsted yarn. It could also be knit in a woolier yarn, and the instructions offer an edge finishing option in case the unfinished edges curl more than desired.

YARN: any heavy DK or light worsted yarn that knits to the gauge!
YARDAGE: 775 (870, 950, 1125, 1220, 1330, 1450, 1540) yards; 840 (945, 1030, 1220, 1325, 1440, 1570, 1670) meters
NEEDLES: 3.75 mm (US 5)
GAUGE: 20 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch

SUGGESTED YARNS: Sandnes Garn Line, Mode at Rowan Cotton DK, Berroco Remix Light, Berroco Zinnia

The construction is similar to a top-down raglan, but the sleeves are cut short to form simple straps over the shoulders. The raglan details are carried down the sides to create a wavy detail alongside eyelets, that result in a gentle A-line shape.
Suggested ease: 1/2 - 2 inches
Finished bust measurements (inches): XS (32), S (34), M1(36 ¼), M2 (38 ¾), L1 (42), L2 (45), XL (48 ¼)
YARDAGE: 325 (350, 370, 400, 440, 470, 500) yards; 300 (325, 340, 370, 405, 435, 460) meters
NEEDLES: 5.5 mm (US 9)

It is knit seamlessly from the top down. You can start with a provisional cast on, or a regular cast on for the shoulder straps - both options are provided in the pattern. The edges are finished as you go, so there is no finishing work other than weaving in your ends!
The intended ease is approximately 2-4 inches (5-10 cm). The sample shown here has about 3.5 inches. The body measures approximately 12 inches (30 cm) from the underarm, but the length is easily modified. If you wish to lengthen it, you may need more yarn than given below.
The instructions include notes for making small adjustments to the armhole depth, in case that is something you’d like to do.

I am hoping to finish my Sashiko Tee by Elenor Mortensen before the end of July but my shoulder has slowed me down. I took this progress shot on Suday.

This one I took today. The body is 10.25 inches right now so I might to cut out the next petal rows before the bottom section but I haven't decided.
I am using Julie Asselin Leizu Fingering in Trench and Emilie.
