Isabell Kraemer’s Humulus is worked seamlessly from the top down. First some Short Rows are worked back and forth to create a higher back neck and then the round- yoke is worked top down to sleeve separation. Some last short-rows are worked to finish the yoke shaping right before sleeve stitches are placed on hold, then the body is worked in rounds down to the hem. Sleeves are worked top down to the cuffs last.

Humulus is knit using worsted weight yarn with the suggested 3.75 mm (US 5) and 4.0 mm (US 6) needles for a gauge of 20 sts x 28 rows = 4” (10 cm) square in Stockinette stitch on larger needle after blocking. Colorwork should be swatched to determine whether to go up or down a needle size to keep gauge consistent.

Liselotte’s Humulus reverses the dark and light and is just as lovely. Catherine (MCatherineL)'s Humulus above has the addition of her own personal touch - pockets!

Angela’s Daddy's Request pullover by Varian Brandon and her Bedouin Bag by Nora J Bellows. The sweater is knitted in the round with a fairisle yoke from the bottom hem up to the armholes. The sleeves are knitted separately in the round and then added to the body. The remainder of the sweater is knitted in the round with a series of decreases that shape the upper portion of the garment.

The Ravelry pattern page only shows 2 projects and yet there is a photo of a group of six who are all wearing this design and a seventh being held up! The sweater is knit using worsted weight yarn with 3.5 mm (US 4) and 4.0 mm (US 6) needles for a gauge of 18 stitches and 23 rows = 4 inches in stockinette.

Amy Gunderson’s Day at the Museum knit using 9 Koigu KPPM colours. This A-line sweater is knit seamlessly from the top down with increases and decreases worked within the chevron columns. Starting with a 16” circular, you gradually switch to longer needles when there are too many stitches to fit.

Stitch markers are placed between each pattern repeat. Depending on your size, you’ll need between 22-34 markers. Sleeve repeats and body repeats are differentiated also, so you may find it helpful to have different colors of markers.

Start this beautiful sweater with a Koigu Painter's Shade Pack - curated 9 skein combo of KPPPM for a total of 1575 yds. Amy used 3.25 mm (US 3) needles in 16", 24", 32" plus dpns for a gauge of 32 sts x 34 rows = 4” in 16 to 22-st Chevron patts using the larger needles and 32 sts x 34 rows = 4” in K1, P1 Ribbing using the smaller needles. Alternatively, you could also use 4" tips and the different cord lengths and a 12" needle for the sleeves.

Not too much time to work on my design but I am almost finished to the hem! Front bands next!

I am working on the sleeves now of the Monochrome Pullover by Katrin Schneider that I am knitting my mom! The body is finished - yay!
